About

Claire and Shawn Mull holding up a 100.0 health inspection score in front of the alligator mural

Cooking has always been a big thing in this family. Shawn has cooked professionally for decades, Claire for several years. We love what we do, and we care more about quality and flavor than about anything else.

We love where we live, and you can see it in the names of some of the sandwiches. Outside of the sandwich shop, we are outdoors, usually with the dogs.

Prep in the kitchen, in black and white

We loved putting it together, from making the tables and pouring the concrete to working on the recipes. Of course, we couldn’t do it without the help from our family and friends.

We deeply appreciate the community that lets us keep feeding them, and we hope to see you soon.

What we actually do

Almost nothing comes out of a package. The vegetables are fresh, and local wherever possible. The sauces are made in house. The onions are caramelized low and slow for 5+ hours.

Simply put, we focus on best processes, ingredients, and dynamic flavor.

The alligator

There are no alligators in Burke County.

There is Griffin, a Bernese Mountain Dog in the family who has what we have always called a gator mouth. He inspired the logo.
